♥ What Is True Freedom? ♥

What is true freedom? A very basic question to those who have been slaves in this life. But let me offer another definition: True freedom is living for Christ! Notice I didn't say living for yourself. It's so easy to slip into the latter and neglect the former. Living for Christ brings peace, joy, patience, essentially kicks into gear all the fruits of the Spirit. But...satan has worked overtime to convince you through new age and motivational speakers that you must take care of yourself first above all else. Let me offer a better alternative; when Jesus said to deny yourself and take up your cross daily he also opened up the door to all of the true treasures of love, joy, peace, and prosperity for every day of your life! ~Donnie Alexander (Matthew 6:33)
