God's mercy is the model for how we should discipline our own children. If we react in anger, our harsh consequences will always outweigh their deeds of disobedience. If we, however, react firmly in love, we emulate our Savior and teach our children loving discipline in every sense of the word. Of course this takes a little time and patience-but who can measure the overwhelming positive example? ~Donnie Alexander
